Online Workshop hosted by Asaf Braverman

During the past week, we worked with the exercise of avoiding multitasking. Our aim was to restrict our moving center’s tendency to overfill the moment with activity, crowding out consciousness. In this third June workshop, we will share some of the lessons learned from this task, and take a step back to understand the place of exercises (or ‘rules’) in inner work. “Rules pursue a definite aim,” said George Gurdjieff: “to make people behave as they would behave ‘if they were,’ that is, if they remembered themselves.”

The recording of this workshop is available for BePeriod students only
